Noah, Moses, and Jesus

Noah, Moses, and Jesus.

Noah came 1st in the Bible during the flood. His family was in the Ark for 40 Days and 40 Nights.

Moses came after Noah and led the Israelite slaves from Egypt into the Promised Land. The Israelites were in the desert for 40 years.

Jesus, the Son of God died for the sins of all humankind. He was tried and tempted by Satan in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights.

As you can see, the number 40 has quite a big significance with these 3 Major Biblical Characters.

Noah was a Servant of God. He cared for animals also.

Moses was a Spokesperson of God. Moses took care of sheep, he led people out of slavery.

Jesus is the Son of God, He was also called the Great Shepherd who watches over sheep and makes sure that none go astray.

Noah conquered water by boat.

Moses parted the sea with his staff.

Jesus walked on water with sandals on from one place to reach Peter who almost drowned when he lost sight of Jesus from his boat.

Jesus is the only lifeguard who walked on water of the 3.

Noah was a father.

Moses was a father.

Jesus’ Father is God.

Noah had to take with him 1 of each animal from the face of the Earth onto the ark he built. This implies only Male and Female only.

Moses though not a good speaker at first had no idea he had 2 mothers, one was his real birth mother who was a Hebrew, the other who adopted him was the Egyptian daughter of Pharaoh.

How does Moses make coffee? He Brews it. Get it, cause he is a Hebrew.

Well technically speaking Moses was saving storage in a place called the ICloud!

Wherever God’s people went, a cloud went before them, be it a pillar of fire or a cloud to prevent them from heavy rainfall as they traveled or more likely to give them shade.

I have often seen depictions of cartoon stories with clouds as well. How they are feathery, light, and soft, but you can’t touch them. There is also Cloud Strife from the Final Fantasy movie Advent Children.

Jesus had a virgin mother and a carpenter father.

Noah – only righteous man of his time.

Moses – born of slave parents, but became the Prince of Egypt.

Jesus – Prince of Peace.

Noah was a righteous man off his time yet the wicked people made fun of him when he was building the ark.

Moses who was born a Hebrew aka Israelite had lived alongside Pharaoh’s family since he was an infant. Yet, when it came to setting the Israelite people free and move into the new Promised Land that God had for them, Pharaoh’s heart was hardened and couldn’t set the people free. Pharaoh and his family worshiped the false gods while Moses worshiped the True God of his forefathers of Israel.

Jesus the Son of God was hated and killed by His own people the Jews. He was for all the people, whether Jew or Gentile. Jesus was a true gentleman to all.

God is looking for a righteous generation willing to serve him wholeheartedly and be holy, pure, and blameless.

Of the 3 being Noah, Moses, and Jesus, Jesus is the only One born without sin, He is truly God’s Holy Son!

Every person you read about in the Bible points to Jesus!
