Caution Yourselves On The Following

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #1:

Plain and simple when you read the fine print here upon their Income Disclosure Statement that they DO NOT guarantee you will make any money whether you use or promote their products and services.

That alone raises many doubts.

Empower Network Income Disclosure Statement

There is a great deal of uncertainty about this and I personally do not like it one bit.

The Statistics shown here for success are very limited and not many are able to achieve this level of successful income as seen in this Empower Network Data Table. It also makes me wonder if this is indeed accurate or can it fluctuate up and down without warning.

As far as Empower Network goes: “Be prepared to meet the unexpected.”

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #2:

No Free Trial Version

You got to spend money to make money. There is no such thing as a Free Trial when it comes to Empower Network. You can’t simply just try it out for a few days and then call it quits, no no no.

Sorry, no movie trailer sneak peek preview available for your convenience here on Try It Before You Buy It Product here.No Try Before You Buy Image

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #3:

Empower Network does not go into too much specific details on their Business Model on what steps you can take to guarantee you success for years to come. Nor will they inform you of new profound ways in which you can make money through their Program alone. Empower Network DOES NOT provide elaborate emphasis training on teaching you everything you need to know on how exactly you should promote your blog, be skillful enough to drive Organic Traffic to the blog through Top Search Engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo, nor do they even mention how you may go about selling real products and services. The training there is probably very poor in that even if you ask tough questions, chances are they could be left unanswered or completely ignored.

I hate being given the “cold shoulder” or “silent treatment,” don’t you?

In other words, you are left to fend for yourself on what you put in and hope to get out of the Empower Network Program. You Are On Your Own Dr Seuss Quote

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #4:

Do Your Own Thing QuoteLack of control is very present here. You DO NOT own the blog you create. It is Empower Network that owns it. There are only quite a few Themes you may choose from. Plus, not to mention you don’t get more functionality of additional features to enhance the user-friendly appeal experience for your visitors when it comes to Plugins which is a great aspect of using WordPress for blogging and creating your own personal branded Website. For the most part, Empower Network Blogs have a tendency to showcase their own Banners with advertisements that seem to sound like they force you to join their program.

But, you got to ask yourself if it is worth the $25 you invest in this because in the end you really cannot claim any means of ownership over the Content you create with this as Empower Network calls all the shots. Essentially you are just the secretary like assistant creating Content for someone else when really for the work you do, you should have the sole right to claim it as yours once and for all! Am I right? In the case of Empower Network, you really DO NOT have a say on this matter as upon joining with Empower Network you sign a Contract or Disclaimer Agreement stating that you deny being the owner of the Content which you have made.

This is just as bad when during school days as you were put in a group of people to work with, some would do the hard labor while others just slack off. Why shouldn’t you get the credit for the work you did while someone else just takes it easy and puts no effort into the project?

Would you like to be in complete control of your own Blog and receive the Credit you deserve for the work you do?

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #5:

“And I herewith thee sword dub Empower Network King of Upsell Mania.”Promotion To Knighthood

Upsells Galore. No joke. Empower Network is pretty expensive aside from just going by Basic Membership Fee of $25 monthly.

I don’t think it is possible to have even several Upsells being worth so much just in order to succeed online to make money? Come on, really?

Personally, I do not like the thought of Upsells in general as they make it seem that you just need to have this or that simply in order to be more successful.

I mean can’t I be just plain successful with being a Basic Member having just the Kalatu Blogging System by my side for just a mere monthly payment of $25?

Wrong! If you DO NOT wish to buy the Inner Circle, you lose out on “great video content” along with the commissions you could have potentially made if your referrals had Upgraded.

You can’t earn money simply as is without purchasing their Payment System E-Wallet either. To make matters a bit more challenging and uneasy, that is an additional $19 which adds to the bulk load of what is necessary as a means of succeeding with Empower Network entirely. There is no set in stone promise that you CAN succeed from this approach but then again this constitutes as meeting the minimum requirements attributed towards “success.”

Here’s the list of Upsells associated with Empower Network:

1) $25 Per Month For Basic Membership which includes the Kalatu Blogging System.

  • This comes with very basic training features.

Empower Network Kalatu Blogging System

Something one must truly be aware of is that you must purchase all the levels that you want should you so desire to aid in your quest towards promoting Empower Network. So, for example if you just simply bought the $25/monthly Kalatu Blogging System, you would only obtain your Commissions just from that and nothing else since you didn’t buy the other products. Suppose someone signs up under you and they end up buying the higher levels even as you DID NOT, you WILL NOT obtain any Commissions.

2) Inner Circle: $100/month

Empower Network Inner Circle

This Membership Level allows you access to a Library Directory of information such as: audio, the details on the Empower Network Founders, Team Leaders, as well as Members of the Empower Network in general. You have the choice on selling this level and earning commissions out of it should anyone join it through you.

3) Top Producer Formula: 13 In-Depth Modules One Time Payment Fee of $500

Empower Network Top Producer FormulaTop Producer Formula Empower Network

The videos included with this package lay out an overview of the ways in which you may approach your online leads with the products of Empower Network you promote and focus on audience aspect combined with more advanced strategy techniques you may utilize. In other words, you will learn methods on how you may become a Top Producer in your line of online business. This is said to be as a “must have.”

4) Team Building Formula One Time Payment Fee: $1,000

Empower Network Team Building FormulaTeam Building Formula Empower Network

This shall teach you how to be a team player in your business. It is meant for those that are finding it hard to build up a profitable team base force.

5) Mass Influence Formula One Time Payment Fee: $3,500

Empower Network Mass Influence FormulaMass Influence Formula Empower Network

Wow! $3,500 is needed for this Video Package teaching us ways we can influence others to do what we want them to? That is too high of a price to put on that.

Instead of paying such a huge price just for this, thank goodness there is YouTube and Google, ooh and Psychology Courses in College that can help teach us all the means of influence, respect, and honor for those around us working together as one, a team.

Respect, you got to give it in order to earn it. That aspect is priceless, you can’t put a Price Tag on that.

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #6:

14 Day Money Back Guarantee On All Empower Network Products

Money-Back Guarantee is very limited in that you can request a refund back within only 2 Weeks or 14 Days only. This is a very tricky tactic because with other online programs, they usually extend their Money-Back Guarantee to either 30 Days or 60 Days so that you have a little extra time to explore and get more acquainted with the program you hope to be a part of.

Oh, and did I mention that if you Signed Up for all of the Upsells mentioned in my Beware Sign #5 that they come with a 14 Day Money Back Guarantee also? Truth be told, all Empower Network Products have only a highly strict 14 Day Money Back Guarantee.

No IT Support AvailableBEWARE SCAM SIGN #7:

No support and no manners or ethics are being shown or followed from Affiliates of Empower Network. I would believe most people in this Program are hard wired to be very competitive and very fixated on just doing everything they can to recruit as many people as they possibly can into Empower Network.

When such Affiliates are so driven on just this one task, it can leave a wide gap of failure in terms of offering support and incorporating proper team building skills for improvement purposes. One of the most sought out characteristics an affiliate should embody is that of maintaining the trust and communication between fellow members and future customers. This is what initially separates that of loss and achievement.

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #8:

The Truth About 100 Percent CommissionsYou WILL NOT receive 100% of the Commissions they say you would. It is only meant for some of them, not all. Most of what you will earn will end up benefiting your Upline which would be the people that referred you for the Product or Service being provided.

When someone mentions you to “go all out” and “Upgrade” this is a disguised bunch of terms that really mean “pay additional money for advancing and being successful” or so they proclaim. The only way you can obtain huge commissions is if you only actually own all of the packages yourself.

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #9:

Survival FireFox QuoteIt should come as no surprise to any of us that there will be more sellers than actual buyers of Empower Network.

Only a few percent of people have successfully succeeded in getting sales while others are still struggling. For those that are finding making sales challenging, it can be that they are a novice at internet marketing more or less as well as really unsure of what they are doing to accomplish greater progress like the Top Affiliates.

Like the catchphrase: “Many will enter, few will win.”

According to Empower Network, I would have to say: “Many will enter, few will survive.”

Would you agree, yes or no?

BEWARE SCAM SIGN #10:You Are Not the Customer You Are the Product Being Sold

You yourself are the product going door to door being a salesperson selling a part of yourself onto others. The product can’t sell itself without your help! In the end, you will begin to realize that upon doing this, you are NOT the Top Dog as one person’s gain is another person’s loss. In other words, you are really the Underdog in all this.

Only those that are at the Top of the Food Chain are the sole winners while those below are known as the sore losers. Speaking of which, this relates very well to a Predator-Prey relationship doesn’t it in the Animal Kingdom?

Lion Top of the Food Chain

The Top Guns who truly benefit from all the hard work you do are the Founders whom you have no way of contacting personally and the first batch of people that were in the Program when it launched in 2012.

FAQs Brainstorming Thoughts and Getting Ideas

1) What is MLM? What is MLM Marketing Strategy?

MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). The MLM Marketing Strategy is where the sales force is compensated not only for the sales they are able to generate on a whole but also get commissions from the customers that they end up recruiting into the program under them.

In a typical MLM Program, you are paying just a minimum fee just to enter and be a part of it. However, what we later fail to realize is that as time progresses eventually they will start revealing other more advanced levels of membership which would open the doorway to more higher commissions you can look forward to obtain.

2) What is a “Downline?”

The sole purpose of a “Downline” is that for you to make money within the Program, you must meet the requirement of promoting the same Products and Services that (you had invested your hard earned cash in) to other people. This is an ongoing cycle which seems like it never ends. So for your “Downline” to achieve any money, they are required to follow in the same footsteps to do the same exact thing which you did. Almost like the phrase: “Like father, like son” where common actions/characteristics are being passed down onto the next person.

The products are vastly overpriced and are that way for a reasons. So that those at the top of the pyramid can make lofty profits on the loss of the bottom feeders below them.

3) What is an “Upline?”

Most of what you will earn will end up benefiting your Upline which would be the people that referred you for the Product or Service being provided.

4) What is a Pyramid Scheme?

Based on a Hierarchical-like Setup, it is an illegal scam investment. New Recruits or Referrals consist of being at the bottom and or building foundation of the pyramid in that they provide for the funding responsibilities, so-called bringer of customers flowing into the program in the hopes of earning commissions, which end up really be given away to the beginning founders/recruits who are above them. In other words, the ancestor gains at the loss of the descendants. No Thanks Looks Like a Pyramid Scheme

Conclusion

I would never want to be part of anything that wouldn’t benefit me in the long run. Especially with Empower Network we are led to believe in false hopes and promises. In essence we were mislead and should therefore always caution and alert ourselves to first conduct constant research into online programs like this to know the truth beforehand so as not to waste loads of valuable time which could very well wisely be used with something more important and crucial. This obviously sounds like a complete waste of risking so much money if you are not provided with the essential training, help, and control you desire for the credit you should receive for the work you do.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND trying them out for any reason, in fact I would warn people I knew of who were thinking of seeing what they were about before they fall in too deep with their disgraceful deception money making schemes.  Clearly Empower Network follows through with accomplishing the #2, #4, #5, #6,#8, and #9 components I mentioned in my Scam Artist List dictating it is indeed partially a Scam, not exactly 100% of it is a Scam, but the majority of it is.

Are you sick and tired of running into Scam after Scam and never coming across a legitimate online opportunity to learn to make money the right way provided with Training to help accomplish it and an online community of people to support you through think and thin towards your path to online success and financial freedom?

But, be not dismayed as there is light at the end of the tunnel even as you read this Empower Network Scam Review, because I know of a place where you can learn/be trained to earning money the best and most legitimate way possible through Wealthy Affiliate Online Marketing.

And just what is the Kalatu Blogging System, am I supposed to be impressed with this name. lol, It’s a crying shame that they get away with schemes like this.
People that are trying to make an honest living on the internet and are willing to put in the time are falling for these things. Once they get there foot in the door they find themselves having to come up with more money to get the chance to make money. I mean the upsells on this one are a joke.
And by the looks of this one they have peopl paying to write blogs for them to promote, not bad for them, there not having to pay out for content, acutualy they get paid for content that they don’t write.
Bad, bad, bad, I just hate to see sights like this because they are so apealing to the inocent people out there.
Well with your post here, hopefuly you have saved some people from spending their hard earned money on a scam.

Something that I read on this post and that I agree with is that most scams don`t offer a free trial. They want you to pay them before you get to see how maikng money with them works out. And if you fall for that, after a while you will realize that you are making really no money. So take into account one thing before you pay for something on the internet, make shure there is a trial of whatever it is you are paying for.

    Hi Angel!
This is one in-depth review, for such a shallow program as Empower Network! It is crazy what some people will try to charge for virtually nothing!

I especially appreciated your point that this scheme can’t even sell itself, without good people putting themselves and their personal reputations on the line to push it. That really does tell the whole story.

The total price of this thing is equal to a new car! Let’s see…getting scammed or a new car…which will it be…I think I would rather have the new car! Or better yet, a real opportunity to earn the car.

Thank you for exposing this very expensive mistake, before even more people make it.

Thanks for exposing another scam. It’s hard enough to make money to survive, and I can understand how people can get drawn into this when their only desire is to pay their bills. These scam artists are not going to stop, so I appreciate very much people like you who are willing to take time to expose these miscreants. This is not a program that I had heard of previously, however, if I come across it, or hear about it from others, I’ll be sure to send them to your article. Thanks again.

      Dear Ankit,

Thanks again for your Feedback, I really appreciate it. 🙂 I hate MLMs in general, the way they are structured and how it is a rough type of business model to get into. Yes, Empower Network is what I call the “King of Upsell Mania.” Affilorama has Upsells too, but doesn’t come close to how pricey Empower Network is either. They are more legit in that they have a Free Membership but are NOT an MLM business model. They are known for getting people more acquainted with what is affiliate marketing instead.

I’ve heard whispers that they made a huge amount of money off people dragging them into a MLM scheme that would never work out for them. It’s a shame so many newbies fell for it…

      Dear Chris,

It always upsets me that Newbies fell for this MLM Scheme. Hence, a Pyramid Scheme at that too. People should do their research before applying to join any Online Program. Take into consideration how most respond in the Reviews especially. If majority had trouble with the Program, I do not understand how people can still have the courage to be part of a Program that would not help them at all in the long run since it does not achieve the results they had anticipated.

      Thanks for dropping by. 🙂

Hey there Angel, I love your content. Every time I read a post like this one, promoting WA and endorsing its program, I always seem to find another angle from which I had not previously approach. I especially like your signs to look for, especially on the guarantee part. Did WA guarantee its members an income from their work?

      Dear Elliedan,

Thank you for your Feedback. 🙂 I am glad to hear that you love my Content. 🙂 Hmm, happy to hear that I helped you “think outside the box.” My honest answer would be that they do not guarantee their members an income from their work. Success/Income only comes from hard work and dedication which is something a lot of people don’t commit to.

I hope that helped answer your question. 🙂

    Hello again Angel,

You really made such a great wide review on EN. The message is clear and the direction poined out leads to more disadvantage rather than advantage.

I think the upsells are really persuasive and if you are not careful, you will end up paying more than earning.

Thanks for this review, hope this will send the message to all the people out there. The business may be considered legal but there are so many grey areas that you should take care. It’s like “join at your own risk.”

Hi there Angel , I have reviewed the Kalatu product few weeks ago and it was a bridge to the Empower Network.I knew about EN from previous reviews I have read online , and almost all of them were VERY negative.

And I remember the intro video inside EN where the creator show up his million dollared Ring , what a campaign???

So they mean we will be creating blogs that we do not own them?…So that they have full control of them?…What kind of marketing is that?

Their banners and imagery in general are very tempting , but they lack of quality I guess.Mass formula for $3500.That is a joke , right?…14 days guarantee? , another one

So if I understand correctly this is an MLM organisation with NO product and the only way to make money with them is to promote EN?…And we are left alone on how to do that?

I think this is not for me , thanks for letting us know.

      Dear Tasos Perte Tzortzis,

Thanks for your Feedback. 🙂 It is greatly appreciated. 🙂 Yes, it is quite true that Empower Network has been emotionally scarred negatively based on Reviews I have read as well. Many complaints and pretty less satisfaction involved.

Million Dollar Ring, hmm I am not sure of that Campaign, sounds weird.

Yes, you create Blogs and do not have the rights to them. In fact, they may you sign a Contract or Agreement where you state that you do not by any means own any of the Blogs or Content you create of them. They are the sole property of Empower Network itself! Yep, they have 100% full control over them because they could also be deleted without prior warning too.

Actually, it is not a joke, see for yourself here Mass Influence Formula and further along you will soon hit that famous 14-Day Money Back Guarantee Statement too. This is mentioned with all their Products.

That is correct, the only way to make money is to promote Empower Power and the Products they advertise or want others to really buy in order for them to get commissions. An on-going cycle which never ends pretty much.

There might be some guidance along the way, check out previous Comment by Jennie. She speaks from experience. 🙂

Thanks for your article, and you have brought up some very valid point re EN.
I was an affiliate for a while, then a customer. As a customer of the Kalatu blog at the $25 level, I was able to rank within the top 5 listings on the 1st page of Google for awhile. To that I credit the team within EN I was with that taught me some SEO as well.
So while yes, the blog training lacks (at least it did at that time) it wasn’t a scam. As for the upsells, yes they are expensive. And so is college. Could a bunch of courses focused on psychological, team building, and presentation skills needed in marketing be cheaper? Perhaps.
As for recommending EN, I feel like some people may find it helpful for marketing educational purposes. People learn the best from certain teachers over others, and have different learning styles. Every Internet education program out there has strengths and weaknesses.
The not-owning-your-own-content-it-gets-passed-up-to-your-sponsors bothered me too. However, I have spoken to both David Wood and Dave Sharpe, and while I feel maybe this decision wasn’t the best, I don’t believe it was from ruthless intent.
The reason I left is the price of the upsells is very high and I wasn’t comfortable marketing it–especially to beginners.

      Dear Jennie,

Thank you so much for your Feedback especially on sharing your own personal experience with us. 🙂 Welcome, I am happy to hear you liked it and that I mentioned some valid points on this. 🙂 I am glad to hear that you had a good team of people in Empower Network to help you out in terms of learning some SEO. Other places I looked into said that they were not really offered much guidance or proper training within the Empower Network Program whether they were an Affiliate or Customer.

But, it may also depend on the College too, whether they offer high quality teachings in terms of the tuition fee that is demanded. Yes, I suppose perhaps a slight few might think of Empower Network as being somewhat helpful or resourceful for enabling education in internet marketing and business purposes. For the most part, the strengths should usually outweigh the weaknesses to better determine if a Program is good or not overall.

I like to own what I worked on, wouldn’t want someone else stealing the Credit for it. Thanks for being honest in why you left. 🙂 I would hate to be faced with Upsells like that and being asked to market it to an audience. I agree with you, it is probably not meant to be marketed towards beginners who are just entering into the world of internet marketing by a wild stretch of the imagination if you know what I mean by that.

What a shame that so much work is put into a product but then the essential key to success – training and sales support – is missing so often.

Hi, Angel! Wow! You really put your heart into this one. I myself have deep-routed trust issues, so when something seems too good to be true, I have to go with my gut instinct to just run for the hills–and let’s be clear this happens when things are legit, too. If you’re seeing SO many red flags with one company, just run. Run for the hills. And on top of it–no refunds!? Jesus! That’s not ethical at all. It’s sad how seedy some companies are, and so far, all the MLM companies I have heard about are right up that alley.

Keep these reviews coming, Angel, they are great! Thanks!

Thank you so much for your Feedback. 🙂 I honestly wish I trusted in my gut feeling instincts beforehand instead of easily falling prey to online scams like this one among others out there. I usually firsthand second guess myself on yay this is great, I should join and later on it haunts me to do research on these programs and get the real deal on what they truly are about, are they worth it or not, do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and risks involved? Yes, thanks for reminding me of that too, even with things that appear to be quite legit as well. 🙂

I can honestly say you are much wiser than me with making a firm decision stand on staying away from such red flags with one company especially MLM ones.

Wow, Love, Love, Love your review! This is so helpful and I’m sure it will help others make a fair decision on what will be the best fit after hearing all of this. This has got to be one of the most thorough reviews I”ve ran into. It’s like you didn’t fail to leave anything out. I’ve always wondered about Empower Network for the longest but somehow never could bring myself to so much as give them a try. I love their blog content but that’s about the only thing that appealed to be honest. I knew there was most likely a catch behind that $25.00 sign up to get started. What get’s me is why can’t these people simply tell you the whole truth of the matter, so that people can make the right choice. Who wants to get on the inside, only to find there is tons more money required and more to the business than the marketers flash in your face. Geez, thank God, you have been inspired to share your experience and knowledge about EN.. So now I know the entire deal from someone whose already been down that road 🙂

    Thanks and all the best!

      Dear Beverly S,

Thank you oh so much for your Feedback. 😀 I sure do strongly hope so. 🙂 Yes, I do my best and hardest to be as specific as need be with my Reviews and other Blog Post Articles since I am a very detail-oriented person by nature. I too like yourself often was pondering what this Program was all about because first I never heard of it before and I was curious on if it is as good as they make it out to be in terms of an online opportunity anyone who wants to start an online business can invest their hard earned cash in.

I suppose in all things in life, especially advertisements there is usually bound to be a catch sooner or later down the road. Whether we expect it or not it is sometimes difficult to say whether it will benefit us or we should do our best to steer clear of it for the greater good.
Based on the research and what I found out, the $25.00 Sign Up only covers you for their Blogging Platform only, if you wish to earn Commissions or so, you need to have Signed Up for their E-Wallet Service as well which is another added value of $20. 🙁

Well, that is the thing because some believe saying the truth hurts and decreases their chances of getting that sale they want in order to get some kind of income coming their way. So, instead of telling the truth, they try to mask it up and tell lies and grant false promises as a result to appear faultless in trying to sell you their product or service program to become a part of.
Yeah, I wouldn’t want to invest in so much money if I am not completely guaranteed I can expect a full 100% return of investment I would have paid had I joined this Empower Network Program which obviously I was never a member of.

Yes, I have been inspired well enough to try to break the complicated way of understanding what Empower Network is all about into something more condensed and easier to under for my wonderful audience like you. 🙂
Well, I was not a member of Empower Network at all to be honest with you. 🙂 I just felt the need to express my honest opinion on telling the truth on how their Program is structured. 🙂

Yes, when a Program seems so awful like this based on Beware Signs, it is always wise to offer an alternative so that one does not lose hope too easily believing that there may not be an online opportunity that is truly genuine and supportive as I have it to be with the Program I am proudly a part of. 🙂 Wealthy Affiliate is my Top Pick for many reasons. 🙂 I am there each day on Live Chat helping newbies and answering PMs, I even do a bit of mentoring which I highly enjoy as I share what I have learned so that others can benefit as well. 🙂

I’ve read so many reviews on Empower Network already and still think that it’s dodgy. I don’t think many people will make money with Empower Network, especially with their upsells to make you spend more in order to become successful. They don’t even allow you to own your own blog. It is better to not get involved in businesses like Empower Network, when there are other great ways of making money online. What is your number one recommendation?

      Dear Teresa,

Yes, I agree. Based on their Income Disclaimer Statement, clearly anyone can see that only a very small percentage of people are actually able to succeed in Empower Network. But, then again that means that those people got to that point of successful being when they joined Empower Network back in 2012 when it first started. Clearly I am just shocked that they would spend so much to be that successful, I question myself was it worth it?

    Hi There,

I’ve looked in to Empower Network before, and am happy to see such a detailed review.
Especially the fact that you don’t have any ownership on the content you create bothers me a lot.
As for the income disclosure statement, I’m sure every single money making platform has this somewhere on their website as it is to cover against possible court cases. It’s the same as your privacy policy on your website to be honest.
The amount of upsells sounds ridiculous to me, you’ve managed to make a nice overview of them here on your post, makes it a lot easier to see what they all really are.

I’m gonna take your advice on this one and stay far away from this network 🙂

One more thing I’d like to add tho, whenever I’ve been researching Empower Network, I stumble upon blogs that usually discourage joining… If I go through the comments, many times there are very rude comments of actual EN users… What really gets me is that they are really, really rude… This says enough about the sort of people who are involved with it don’t you think? 🙂

    Cheers!

      Dear Maarten,

Thank you so much for a great positive Feedback regarding my Blog Post Article regarding how Empower Network truly is. 🙂 I highly appreciate it. 🙂 Yes, not having the rights to something you created is a red flag in my book in terms of Empower Network claiming full ownership when in truth it is you who should have that ability since you worked hard to create all that Content and it is meant to be valuable for them and not you? It is not worth it to pair up with a Program like this if they can’t be decent enough to offer a kind gesture of owning what you create.

Hmm, I never thought of the Income Disclaimer Statement being seen almost like a Privacy Policy Page of an online website. You taught me something new, thanks. 🙂

Yeah, I am one to go as specific as needed in terms of the Reviews I write about Scams, Products, and Services. 🙂 As well as everything else in between in such a way I leave no question unanswered. 🙂

I would never feel welcome in an atmosphere around mean people because that in turn will cause me to be negative and I really do not want that. I am not too competitive to try putting someone else down.

I rather feel the need to help someone understand something better. Yeah, you are absolutely right, they do tend to give off the “cold shoulder” a ton based on what you have read with your research on Empower Network Blogs. 🙂

Wow, such an informative and great article!

I totally agree with all of your points regarding Empower. They are suspiciously similar to a program called My Lead System pro – which I became a member of recently.

They had a 30 day money back guarantee, which I ended up using. I managed to get the money back no problem luckily.

As soon as I joined them I knew I had made a mistake – just like with Empower, there was upsell after upsell…and little support.

I too started my journey with Wealthy affiliate and I can hands down say without a doubt that it is the best place to be.

For me one of the worst aspects would be not owning what I created. If I put work into something, I should have full rights over whatever I create.

I was waiting for the pros as I read con after con… I hope there are some somewhere for the poor people who have joined this program!

Are there any pros for this program?

I couldn’t have agreed with you more on that. I like to claim full 100% of the stuff I create, why should someone else get the credit when I did all the work?

I can rarely think of any Pros related to this online program in particular.

I guess the one Pro that should come in anyone’s mind is:

      Get your own empowernetwork.com Blog

Yet even with that, you don’t have full rights to what you put on there since Empower Network owns the whole thing no matter what as you sign a contract disclaimer saying you do not claim any ownership for the content you laid out on your Empower Network Blog. 🙁

This is a really informative post… most people trying to earn money online will have gone down the MLM route at some point in their life – I, too, went with EN for a short while but, thankfully, managed to pull out before I spent any real money there!!
My issue was that I didn’t really know what I was selling – I kind of just got swept up into this tsunami of info, telling me I was gonna earn loads by selling a product that I didn’t really understand. My gut told me there must be a better way of doing this stuff… I, too, turned to affiliate marketing 🙂
I’m sure it works if you’re really willing to put in the time and effort – but it just didn’t really sit right with my values either, there’re much better ways of doing this!!
    Thanks for sharing!!

Good thing you trusted in your gut instincts since they usually know better than second guessing yourself on making a decision fast without processing what you are in for. ^_^

Yay! You went for Affiliate Marketing. 😀

I am sure also it may work, but the successful rate of those who are able to maintain a consistent income with Empower Network is probably very little. And that is not good considering the huge amount of money that must be invested in order to get others to buy the product and continue the never ending cycle of promoting it and referring other people into Empower Network just to earn a commission, not even all the time.

I was just looking at their website a few hours ago and came to the same conclusion that you did.

They are, like so many on the internet, just trying to use you as a pathway to their success. It’s pretty obvious that they just want your money to start with, and then your hard work, to make themselves rich and they don’t give a crap is you make money at all.

Thanks for an excellent and thoughtful review.
