Google Indexing Made Easy – Super Cool!

Google Indexing Made Easy, Yeah Right?

That is the Big Question we are going to tackle in this Blog Post Article.

Particularly, we are going to focus our attention towards Google since that is the Search Engine that is used more frequently and the great powerhouse with vast amounts of data and information as opposed to the other Search Engines like Bing, Yahoo, or even Ask.com.

Google Indexing Made EasyMany people recently have been asking me how to get their Website Pages/Posts Indexed on Google Faster for the Search Results and for their presence to be better known on the Internet.

I know that some of you are just building your Websites out and are fairly new to this and thinking shouldn’t I wait til I have several Blog Posts Published and then worry about the indexing part later? Well, the sooner you do the Steps I have listed before, the better you will be in the long run. Besides, if you keep to it as part of your daily routine, this will become second nature to you soon enough. 🙂

Not to worry, it has been brought to my utmost attention that since Google Plus came around, things were Updated, and along with that New Changes made to their Overall Website Layout.

I shall provide you all I know with the following Walkthrough on How To Get Your Website Pages/Posts Indexed into Google easier and faster.

But, before we can get into the Indexing Aspect of your Website, you must ask yourself 1 Question beforehand.

Did you remember to get your Website Verified properly using Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools Verification Meta Tag Codes?

WebMaster Tools Website Verification – Google and Bing Meta Tags

Please take a few moments and review if you have done the Steps mentioned here on getting your Website Verified.

Upon reading the information and implementing it, you may now continue onward with the remainder of this Blog Post Article.

Okay, now we shall proceed into the Fun Part of my Blog Post.

Alright, let’s get to it.

1) Go to: www.google.com

Click on Sign In as seen in Below Picture.

Simply Type in your Gmail Username and Password.

Click on Enter.

Click Sign In on Google

You should then see this.

Click on My Account.

Click on My Account on Google

Here’s another Method you can do.

Go to MyAccount.Google.com

Here is the Screen you should see Below as mentioned in previous method after Clicking on My AccountMy Account Google

2) Go To The Middle where it says Personal Info & Privacy.

Click on Account Overview.

Personal Info & Privacy

3) Next, you should see the Following Screen.

Account Overview Screen

4) Click on View Dashboard.

View Dashboard

5) Enter Your Password on the Next Screen.

Please Enter Google Password

6) Once inside, this is the Screen you should see Next, the Google Dashboard.

Google Dashboard

7) Scroll down and you should see WebMaster Tools.

Click on WebMaster Tools.

It should drop down and say Most Recent Site like the below picture.

WebMaster Tools

8) Click on your Website link here as in above picture indicates.

The Following Screen should Appear.

Search Console Dashboard

9) On Left-Hand Side. Then, Click on Crawl.

Crawl Google Search Console

10) Then as it drops down more features, Click on Fetch As Google. You should see the following next.

Fetch As Google

11) Copy/Paste the ending portion of your website after the domain name .com/ .net/ or .org/ into the White Rectangular Text Box, Click on Fetch underneath it.

See the Following Fetch As Google Do versus Fetch As Google Do Not! example picture below.

You will have 3 Different Status.

CompleteGreen Check, this is the one we want.

Temporarily unreachable – This is due to Copy/Paste of my entire Website URL attached when really we are only after whatever is after the Domain Name be it .com/, .org/, or .net/. Exclamation Point in Red Warning Status.

Redirected – Pretty much the same concept scenario as in the Status Temporarily unreachable Status. Exclamation Point in Yellow Caution Status.

Fetch As Google Do and Do Not

12) To the Right, Click on Submit To Index after the Status says with Green Checkmark Complete. The following screen should appear below.

Choose Submit Method Crawl Only This URL

13) Click on Crawl only this URL.

Description: Single URL. This option recrawls only the URL above. You have 499 submissions remaining of your 500 Monthy Quota for this choice.

Wow! How about that, pretty sweet of Google to offer us that. 🙂

Wow Red Text

The other Method is Crawl this URL and its direct links.

Description: Multiple URLs. This option recrawls the URL above and its directly-linked pages. You have 10 submissions remaining of your 10 monthly quota for this choice.

Crawl this URL and its direct linksI would choose Option 1, Crawl only this URL since most of the time I am sure all of you will be Posting more than 10 Blog Post Articles per Month.

14) This is the Final Confirmation you should see below after hitting the Go Button.

Status: Complete and to the right of that URL Submitted to Index.

URL Submitted To Index

Please Note in Blue

Bonus Feature mentioned here aside from just having your Googlebot type being Desktop Option, you can also choose it to be Mobile: Smartphone too.

When you Click the Drop Down box where it says Desktop to the Left of Fetch, you can also Select the 2nd Option which is Mobile: Smartphone to help get your Website Pages/Posts Indexed for this as well since many people are using smartphones to access website content.

Fetch As Google Mobile Smartphone Google Indexing

You would then need to do Steps 11-14 again for this separate function of your Website Pages/Posted being Indexed in such a way that even the Mobile Smartphones can pick up on it as well aside from just the Desktop Option. 🙂

That is simply all there is to it in terms of getting your Website Pages/Posts Indexed on Google Search Engines. 🙂

I hope my Walkthrough though quite long has been most beneficial to you and serving you well on getting your Content more recognized on the Internet. 🙂

    Hi Angel,

I’m brand new to making money online and I didn’t know any of this stuff had to be done. I always thought that you just had to post your article to your website and that’s it. I just signed up for Google and Bing and saved your site to my favorites, so I can see exactly how to do this.

    Thanks

      Dear Jack Taylor,

Thank you so much for your Feedback, I really appreciate it. 🙂 No, there is always a process to these kinds of things to getting your website really out there. 🙂 I had to do many Trial by Error experiments for about 1 year til I got my website to where it is now. 🙂 The hardest part I saw many people face was how to get their websites verified for both Google and Bing Search Engines. 🙂 So, I investigated much into that and finally perfected it through the blog post you just read. 🙂

    Hello,
I am glad I found this. I do have a question, though. How long does it usually take for google to actually index me into their database if I have just created my website and did this whole webmasters thing? I also heard there are many spam bots who will ruin your statistics, is there a way to prevent that ?

      Dear Dejan,

Thank you so much for your Feedback, I really appreciate it. 🙂

To help answer your question regarding Google Indexing:

It takes just a week or two with a .com website usually!

Spam bots will not “ruin” your statistics, but they may skew the data a bit in the beginning when you don’t have much organic trafffic.

I hope that helps answer your question. 🙂

Thanks for the great post, it was really thorough and I actually learned a lot from it. The visual aids really helped me understand that much better, as I’m a little more of a visual person. I never knew that I had to index my pages for mobile separately. I always thought it was done automatically. This is going to help a ton!

I know there is a lot of information available when it comes to searching for techniques to get a better website ranking.

Of course SEO plays a key role here and the content you write needs to be informative and helpful.

One thing i noticed though is when you talk about tags! Some people say you MUST use them .. and others brush them aside insisting they do not play a major roll.

Are they that important? and if so where can i go to get a solid understanding if them so i can implement them into my website?

    Thanks

      Dear Chris Towers,

Thanks for your Feedback, I really appreciate it. 🙂

Here’s what my WA GentleMantor told me about Tags:

For me, I don’t worry about tags so much. MAYBE they can help SEO because they create internal links on your website with proper keywords. If I have a bunch of tags like “pizza”, “italian”, and “restaurant”, then Google will know my site is likely about Italian food.

But there’s nothing special about “tags” that creates this effect. It’s just the internal link, and you can do the same thing with categories, or links within your text.

      That’s my take on it!

I really hope that this has helped answer your question concerning Tags. 🙂

How to do the fetch – I must start trying this now. Thank you. Does that mean you should enter every single post, every time after you’ve published the post? And if you don’t (or forget) you enter this, you’ll have less effect in Google ranking?

    Thanks again!

Since more people are viewing Info on their smartphones, it is wise to submit our Blog Posts for Mobile Option too. It gives it more exposure in a sense to be more likely to be seen too. In turn that could amount to possibly more Visitors to your Website as a result too. 🙂 I never use the Fetch and Render Option here since Fetch is the one most people use often. 🙂
