Seeing is believing, so let’s watch this Video on what is the story behind Coffee Shop Millionaire.

Scam Artist Signs To Be Aware Of

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #1:

The Video on the Home Page seems bizarre. I was expecting to see upfront what I would have to get myself into before joining this if I was really interested. All I heard was his background story and remember him mentioning that this is pretty much an automated like system.

Coffee Shop Millionaire Home Page Video

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #2:

Be careful of Clickbank, especially since some of the programs they promote are actual scams.

So, make sure you do tons of research into any online program you are interested in through their network directory of products and services.

Plus, the good thing about Clickbank is they would gladly refund your money if the actual Founder of the Program does not return the favor. That is whether they like it or not, Clickbank has the final word and upper hand in this.

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #3:

Desperate times call for desperate measures, eh Heather?

I don’t know about you, but I pretty skeptical on the part where she says: Our site is secure. All it takes is a desire to make money.

Right, right, I hear ya on that, it is basically, in order to make money, you got to spend it first!

Hmm, you say you provide everything else, what is that supposed to mean?

Like, yeah, right, I ain’t going to click on some Blue Link thingy next to where it says: “See How Simple It Is.”

TeamSales Agent Heather Part 1

TeamSales Agent Heather Part 2

Oh my! A limited time offer, wow! Nope, nope, nope. I am sure in couple months time when I come back here, the same limited offer would be there. Hence, it is therefore an unlimited offer. 😀

Well, well, well, what have we here? A most common clever sales pitch phrase: “No programming or Internet experience required.”

I rarely watch TV, but when I do, I have a pretty good memory on commercials and services or even products advertised, but I never have recalled even once that Coffee Shop Millionare was ever seen on TV.

I hope I not the only one with that same notion though as I am an observant person.

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #4:

Coffee Shop Millionaire Countdown Timer

I like countdowns just as much as the next person. But, mostly for when the New Year hits, NOT when I am rushed to get a product or service at a discounted price because I was not told beforehand what I am truly in for.

I do not think there is any human being on the face of the Earth that enjoys being pressured for time to make a rushed final decision on anything.

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #5:

Coffee Shop Millionaire Coundown Timed Out

Alright, so I waited out my 30 minutes from previous picture in BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #4 to see what would happen next when the Timer counted down to 0.

This is what I saw. The Price went to $47.

Don’t know about you, but I am one for price consistency always. I hate having to think I have to pay varying prices to get what I want. I mean come on, the actual Product is supposed to be what $37, then Heather comes in for $10 off Discount to $27, and Countdown Timer appears, I wait it out to see the price spike up to $47.

What is with Downloading something like this for that price of $47 now? Come on, really?

I would much rather take an online course over this any day to be honest with you.

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #6:

Anthony Trister 4 Ways To Make A Product VideoTotal of 12 Training Modules – Basics needed for getting started and running.

There are additional videos that go over extra information, discussion forums, and ask questions within the community.

You might be surprised to find that some of the videos may not load well, however they do provide Powerpoint Slides, which would be someone reading something word for word to you much like in the Tutorial Videos. Coffee Shop Millionaire Error Loading Videos

Most of the Training revolves around “Tell and NOT Show.”

We all know of Show and Tell Programs, but sorry to burst your bubble, unfortunately Coffee Shop Millionaire does NOT follow through with that aspect.

They are literally more of telling you something rather than showing you how it is done.

They should be more of “Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk,” am I right?

In other words, you would probably have to spend countless hours of your precious time reading stuff off of Google or watching YouTube videos to get the answers you seek on how to do something properly since Coffee Shop Millionaire failed to deliver.

At the start, you are to be granted a “Cheat Sheet” which outlines a system which can earn you a revenue of $21,000 in a few short weeks WITHOUT having a product or an e-mail list.

Coffee Shop Millionaire 21K System

Okay, strange, how can I make money without a product? That’s Strike 1.

E-mail lists is like a backup plan to get more subscribers, so why leave that out? That’s Strike 2.

Too good to be true, earn $21,000 in few short weeks due to automated system or something? That’s Strike 3 and you are out of the ball game.

Clearly Rome was not build in a day and neither do all online businesses obtain true wealth and riches overnight either. This is common sense people, we CANNOT let our minds be so swayed with these sly tricky “get rich” schemes.

Another part of the Training is dedicated to something called “Cash Machines.”

This covers what the following are:

  • Email Marketing
  • Video Marketing
  • Article Publishing
  • Local Economy

These are great valid marketing strategies, but the Training does not go into detail thoroughly on “all you need to know” because most of the stuff you need to be aware of is completely “left out.”

So, in others this makes it all the more challenging to figure out how to make this a successful campaign.

I mean come on, what is the role of the teacher these days? To teach you, right? Not say something and then you have to self-teach yourself, correct?

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #7:

Anthony Trister Number of YouTube Subscribers

Anthony Trister only has 27 YouTube Subscribers?!? Wow!

They claim to have a very active, supportive and informative online community, but this couldn’t be farther from the truth. I have searched various reviews all over the place but have found that the lack of support is pretty bad here. Ex-members complained that they were not given responses back from other Coffee Shop Millionaire members in the community at all. Plus, if that isn’t bad, they also reported that they did not receive any support from Coffee Shop Millionaire owner Anthony Trister either.

E-mail support is not all that it is cracked up to be, nor is there much phone support available at all.

Check out their FB Page below. It has not had any new posts since February 16, 2013.

Therefore, that raises doubts whether members can even get support at all here they posted their questions here.

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #8:

Upsell 1 Six Figure Success Club $297

Coffee Shop Millionaire 1st Upsell Six Figure Success Club

As Anthony Trister is referred to as an internet marketing “guru,” he is also a successful salesman. Right when you thought you would have to just pay the price of $37 or if you went the discounted $10 off approach of purchasing this for $27, you are hit with another Upsell immediately. The 1st Upsell being Six Figure Success Club for $297.

This is a sneaky tactic used whenever one pays a small fee upfront, they try to get additional money from you once you step in the door of their program, in turn they are making more money “behind the scenes” in the background.

But, wait, let’s do a math calculation here.

1st you pay $37 then an additional $297 which would bring your total to what? A Total of $334 hard earned cash spent on this Program that seems to want nothing more than to rip you off, that’s all it is. A numbers game.

Whoa, hold it, hold it I say, they aren’t done with you just yet, this price you pay doesn’t even grant you access into the Membership Area as you would have expected thanks to Heather the TeamSales Agent saying so at the beginning on the Coffee Shop Millionaire Home Page.

This Total Price of $334 does NOT include:

1) Cost of Website Created

2) Domain Acquisition

3) Hosting of Domain

which are the Top 3 Ingredients to successfully get your money’s worth for using this Program.

Not A Happy Feet Penguin

Not A Happy Feet Penguin

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #9:

Right away, it seems like you are pressured to buy hosting right away.

This adds another $100 or more out of your pocket for this Program.

(However, this depends on your Term of Hosting you bought.)

Alright, you still keeping score here on our math calculations?

First is: $37

Second is: $297

Third is: $100

Grand Total is: $434

Wow, you got to really ask yourself, is it worth it to you that much to spend that money for this way before you gain access to the Members Area at all?

If you are not a huge fan of these “sly upsell tactics from get rich programs” like Coffee Shop Millionaire, clearly this is not meant for you as they care about making themselves profitable versus helping you succeed.

BORDERLINE SCAM SIGN #10:

Lies and false premises already stated by Heather aka TeamSales Agent for Coffee Shop Millionaire.

Did you have to write the word INCREDIBLE in Capital letters to create more emphasis?

Seeing the word incredible made me want to re-watch the Disney Movie The Incredibles for some odd reason.

Really? Instant access to the secret to making millions of $$$ on the Internet?

What is the secret of something if it is being exposed and not kept private like it should be?

Heather TeamSales Agent Coffee Shop Millionaire

Wow, my my my, you are certain I would be 100% satisfied with this product when clearly you are not upfront first on what is expected of me to succeed with your program/product should I feel the desire to purchase it?

I don’t think I will take my chances on spending a penny on this at all even if there is a 60-day money back guarantee.

Again with the Capital letters to add more emphasis, RISK FREE 1-time charge.

Uh hello, you say 1 time fee, but re-check again, you are really charging me $37/month instead as mentioned at Top of this Blog Post.

Conclusion

I would never want to be part of anything that wouldn’t benefit me in the long run. Especially with Coffee Shop Millionaire we are led to believe in false hopes and promises. In essence we were mislead and should therefore always caution and alert ourselves to first conduct constant research into online programs like this to know the truth beforehand so as not to waste loads of valuable time which could very well wisely be used with something more important and crucial. This obviously sounds like a complete waste of risking so much money if you are not provided with the essential training and help you desire to be successful in the program they offer.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND trying them out for any reason, in fact I would warn people I knew of who were thinking of seeing what they were about before they fall in too deep with their disgraceful deception money making schemes.  Clearly Coffee Shop Millionaire follows through with accomplishing the #1, #2, #4, #5,#6, #8, and #9 components I mentioned in my Scam Artist List dictating it is indeed partially a Scam, not exactly 100% of it is a Scam, but the majority of it is.

Are you sick and tired of running into Scam after Scam and never coming across a legitimate online opportunity to learn to make money the right way provided with Training to help accomplish it and an online community of people to support you through think and thin towards your path to online success and financial freedom?

But, be not dismayed as there is light at the end of the tunnel even as you read this Coffee Shop Millionaire Scam Review, because I know of a place where you can learn/be trained to earning money the best and most legitimate way possible through Wealthy Affiliate Online Marketing.

Here’s my own Personal Unique Take on Wealthy Affiliate.

So, you got to really ask yourself, which is the program you would much rather join based on evidence shown?

    Hi Angel

I’ve looked into this and after careful review of your post Coffee Shop Millionaire is definitely not for me. One thing I cant stand is being badgered into upsells upon joining when they make you think you need it ‘to take you to the next level’.

Also I think this Anthony Trister guy is flogging a old outdated product that offers no value to anyone but his own bank account.

He maybe a self proclaimed marketing guru but that doesn’t inspire me to invest my money into his scam, I have to really trust someone before I buy & here I can smell a dirty rat a mile off.

I just checked his YouTube video with a scanty 93 views and yes at the time of this post just 27 subscribers! Well, that says it all.

He says first you need traffic and if you can get that you will make money. But that’s not true, if like me you don’t trust the guy. People are not going to go reaching for that already maxed out credit card thinking they desperately need to tap into the ‘river of money’ he talks about.

I’ve watched the video and he keeps saying watch this video the end.

He tries to get you wanting your own digital cash machine that spews out money to buy whatever you please.

He gives the definition of being a coffee shop milionare, which is someone he wants you to buy into, and keeps saying he’s going to show you how to get a licesne to print money…

    But nothing! Absolure B.S..
Wasted 15 minutes of my time for nothing.

    So NO Trister, NO!

It certainly doesn’t seem like a legit product based on your review, I think I’ll give this one a miss.

There are some pretty hectic up-sells in this also so my guess it it’s mainly a front to get people into higher ticket purchases.

I think Wealthy Affiliate is a much better solution to building an online business. Thanks for sharing 🙂

    Hi,
I would like to comment on your Webpage review coffee shop millionaire. The information and facts presented are quite detailed so I didn’t need to search the Web for more information. Great review on something that looks a little dodgy at best – I will avoid this one! I was interested in what you had to say about Clickbank – are you really that scared of the products there? I wasn’t aware of any scams there – poor products at times yes, but I didn’t know about the scams. As you point out Clickbank will always refund even if the vendor refuses!

    Reply
    1. Angel (Post author)

      Dear Chris,

Thanks for your Feedback. 🙂 I wouldn’t necessarily say I am scared of the products per se there but seeing as how it is the largest affiliate-marketing network for digital products like eBooks, software and membership sites in different categories, this can also attract many online scam artists to come through with their programs and promote it due to the high commission rate they can make off of it there. Not to mention there are just probably way too many “get rich quick” products out there too. Which causes more strain and more challenging to overcome with doing extensive research into choosing wise products to promote that would be beneficial to your website visitors rather than trying to make cash out of them. Other Cons I have heard people mention about Clickbank is the insufficient promotional tools such as for affiliates not being provided the banners and or tracking conversion tools. The Affiliate is solely dependent therefore on the Vendor. Plus, Clickbank with their 60-Day Money Back Guarantee has a higher refund rate than any other program out there.

I am not implying that Clickbank is all bad, but as they have a high commission rate and high refund rate, it takes a bit of time to know where to draw the line in terms of knowing which to promote and what not to promote from Clickbank especially if it comes to recommending other online programs that can prep someone to get more knowledge about what Affiliate Marketing is all about.
So, in conclusion, even though Coffee Shop Millionaire has a high commission rate through Clickbank, I would not recommend them at all since Wealthy Affiliate is much better for the price paid and the support you receive there from such an interactive online community.

I hope that helps put things in perspective for you. 🙂

Please feel free to drop by my website anytime Chris. 🙂

Dear Angel. Thank you so much for sharing this valuable review. Most scammers have very similar tricks. When I see so much pushing like, fake countdowns, weird testimonials, very poor content, you can realize that there is something suspicious inside the program. But it’s very important to share the real truth behind these junks to protect other people’s money and time. Thank you so much for this wonderful review

Thanks for posting this article. With so many scams out there it’s difficult for many of us to navigate around them. (I’ve been caught by a few)

The online money making dream is alive and well in the minds of millions, and unfortunately, the less-scrupulous business’ out there want to capitalize on our hopes and dreams.

I love the way you broke down the signs to identifying an online scam or a borderline scam- you hit the nail on the head each and every time. The one about click bank hit home for me because I tried to promote one of their products through a Facebook page I owned and BAM. promotional ads shut down.

I wish I knew they where a scam before. That page was my baby. lol

      Dear Tommy,

Thank you so much for your Feedback, I greatly appreciate it. 🙂 Welcome, no problem. I like raising awareness on how crafty these online scams can really be. 🙂

I couldn’t have agreed with you more on that, there are way too many to count in terms of online scam programs that I am sure there are legit programs out there but the numbers may be just a few that are truly reliable for the services they provide.

It is very true that many online scams just feed on our emotions too much like it is some of game to them. They care about the money but not helping people, that is a big difference and a very bad business strategy they follow. It sometimes make you question yourself, how are these guys still running and not being shut down, I have no idea.

I take a great deal of time trying to critique each online scam I encounter mainly because sometimes certain things are not being mentioned elsewhere.

Clickbank is notorious for some products and services they promote to be downright scams. I am sure you have to be quite careful and do tons of research into programs that may be strange given their name and could be a scam. So, before promoting a product or service, it is always a great rule of thumb to hear out 2nd or 3rd opinions on the subject matter. Each person’s experience touches on a different flaw of each scam they have been a part of.

Yes, you have to be extra careful with doing that on FB especially, they are not too keen with promotional ads being passed around like that. They would just simply shut it down. 🙁

Please feel free to drop by again sometime. 🙂

    Angel,
Thanks for being on top of this scam websites. After doing some research on this scam company it is clear that it does not provide a clear path for individuals to follow and there are no direct goal for them to achieve. In other words, the education you are going to get in Coffee Shop Millionaire is no different information that you can get out of Google for free. Like you mention in your post, that whole community the owner talks about its fake. I also noticed the “limited time offer part” which is a run away while you can sign!

      Dear Juan,

Welcome, no problem. 🙂 Yeah, for a program to be priced this high to try out, it is not worth it if you are not given proper guidance on knowing what to do to be successful online as an entrepreneur. If all else fails, Google is your friend is what Coffee Shop Millionaire will eventually end up saying in one of their Powerpoint Slides. For price paid, this program is a scamwow, you are not given much support or encouragement here, so how can you continue with this if you do not have someone guiding you every step of the way?

I hate limited time offers. I can understand when it comes to certain food supplies or so at a discounted price, but I hate the limited offer dealing with online programs more though.

      Thanks for dropping by. 🙂

I have seen some of the adds that they run, but never dreamed it was that big of a scam. I did not figure it was legitimate but WOW. Who would have had any idea that it was all up-sell and no training. With only 12 video he did not spend much money on training. No wonder he is a millionair. Some things you can tell someone, other things you need to show them. Does not sound like he was doing much for the money he was getting. I have not seen the add for a while, maybe he has give up on cheating everyone he meets.

      Dear Harry Kaelber,

Thank you so much for your Feedback, I really appreciate it. 🙂 Yeah, it is hard to believe it but it is quite true, his Training is way more outdated than anything I heard of as I was reading more into this Program and Reviews by other people. Thankfully, Wealthy Affiliate has loads of members who have really stepped up to the plate to offer current Training updated so we are always aware of current changes happening here and there. We are kept well informed here than any other Website Building Online Business Platform ever.

Yes, I expect to be a person of Show and Tell, not just Tell someone, and not Show what I am talking about, doesn’t make sense and furthermore adds no value either for the audience.

Perhaps he has completely given up, but then again I am not so sure, there could very well be people still promoting this around, we just don’t know.

I happen to kind of enjoy doing some CSI behind the scenes. By CSI I mean Content Search Investigation, there are places that may say one thing or another on certain topics and my goal is to help filter that which is commonly said to that which is important to mention all in one Blog Post of mine.

Yes, Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to be to learn how you can create a website in 30 seconds and be surrounded by such a great supportive online community of people. Wow you really lay out a ton of “scam review” information on the coffee shop millionaire. A few years ago I almost got into this program, but in one night I decided not to do it. I think what got me mostly is the step up cost involved, and also I always had trouble viewing the videos, they just never seem to run properly.
You certainly give your readers amble material to make a hard core decision. Thank you. P.S. Good choice on your recommendation!

      Dear Angela.

Thank you for your Feedback, I greatly appreciate it. 🙂 Yes, it is because I am a very detail oriented person. I am glad to see that you saved yourself due to your gut instinct that this program was indeed not something that was meant for you. 🙂 Empower Network is another one that people need to watch out for as well.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. 🙂 It is quite a shame if for the price you pay to be in a program, not everything seems to be all there or provided as they say they do from the start. It is a famous sales pitch used to get more people in the door.

I am sorry to hear that the videos did not load properly for you as you had hoped. 🙁 I would be disappointed on that mainly because as we are all visual by nature, it is best to see something done in action, so that we too ourselves can follow through with doing the same thing step by step all the way through.

Welcome, no problem. 🙂 I do my best to tell the truth on these kinds of programs so that people can have their eyes opened to the reality of it all. 🙂

Yes, my #1 Recommendation is the best place I look forward to be a part of day by day. No regrets and I never going to try any other program again, this one for sure is sticking with me 100%.

Please feel free to visit my website anytime. 🙂

Wishing you all the best with avoiding scams like these online and all the best with your futuristic endeavors above and beyond the horizon,

Good. This is a long and informative review on Coffee Shop Millionaire. Through out the years I had seen their ads and some @#$% people who gives a super positive review just to scam the hell out of you. Luckily that I did not believe them. And recently more and more scamy stuff had appear as greedy and lazy people are trying to make a quick buck. 🙁

      Dear Lucas,

Thank you so much for your Feedback, I greatly appreciate it. 🙂 Yes, my Reviews are quite long since I like to present all the information that is worth mentioning on my Blog Posts. 🙂 It is quite shocking to me that they have people saying how great it is, promote it, and then do not bother to respond back to you if you need help to succeed with their program. I mean, am I getting my money’s worth or not here?

I couldn’t agree with you more, there are probably way too many scams out there that it seems like they are pushing out the legit programs from having their appearance known. I hate that. Other things that strike me about online scams is that the program might be going through several different name changes and still ripping people off from their hard earned cash. I mean the theme motto is the same, but perhaps the logo or website name would have been altered drastically.

Thanks to my #1 Recommendation, I am never going to look at online scam programs the same way again. I feel more safe in an online community of supportive people who want you to succeed versus being part of a group who only care about the money before people.

Please feel free to come by my website anytime. 🙂

Wishing you all the best with avoiding scams like these and much more above and beyond the horizon,

    Hi there.

I was attracted to your article by the very passionate way you express yourself. I really don’t know if Coffee Shop Millionaire is a scam or not. However, from the looks of it, I am not too fond of upsells myself. So, that is one huge red flag in my book. Plus, the Training doesn’t seem to be updated from the looks of it. Not sure how successful they could be if they are current in their subject materials though.

    Best wishes

      Dear Oscar,

Thanks for visiting my Website and leaving your Feedback Comment, I really appreciate it. 🙂 I like the compliments too. 🙂 I honestly believe that Coffee Shop Millionaire has set it self up as a borderline scam. I am for a program to be legit would require 3 things.

      1) No upsells.

      2) There could be a Free Trial to check it out.

      3) You can contact the owners and or online supportive community.

Other factors I would look for is are they current with the information they provide and whether I can be happy with the money spent to try a program out and be a part of it in the long run.

Please feel free to visit my website again anytime. 🙂

Wishing you all the best with avoiding these kinds of notorious online scams above and beyond the horizon,

      ~Angel
